By now, I have forgotten how many weeks it has been since the beginning of Comp. homework. Here it is!!!
I walked up to the window to get a good look at the garden. The coarse, brown dirt had little, shiny pebbles scattered around the green plant stems. Fresh, green onions had just shot up out of the ground, along with the brightly colored tulips. I looked up to see the ruby red roses twining up the wooden fence; their thorns were poking out like little knives. The tomatoes on the vine were as ripe as ever with the red flesh shining. There were peach trees were bearing delicious golden fruit. A bird hid behind a puffy, white cloud, squawking loudly. The dazzling blue sky makes the whole garden feel inviting. The garden is very pretty in the summer time.
A beautiful description, Emma. Makes me wish winter would hurry and end so we could experience the fresh, new growth of spring. I am enjoying though the Cardinals, Blue Jays, Purple Finch and Woodpeckers visiting Pop’s bird feeder. Maybe that’s a good sign??
